Polar Express pg 4

Journaling reads: Elf Tom helped us prepare our letters to Santa. He passed out paper and crayons so we could make our Christmas list and give them to Santa as he passed through the train cars.

We traveled to the "North Pole" with my co-worker, her husband and 2 small children the weekend of Thanksgiving. We boarded a train outside of Lewistown, MT and traveled east for a few miles, passing over a huge trestle and arriving at the North Pole. The children were given cookies and hot chocolate. Elves handed out paper and crayons so you could make your Christmas List and hand it to Santa when he passed through the train car. We boarded at dusk and it was snowing, huge giant snowflakes. When we arrived at the North Pole, Santa boarded the train and visited with every child and took their Christmas list back to his workshop with him. All I can say was it was truly magical.
