I wasn't sure if I'd stop this book at Dec. 25 or keep going. Looks like the answer is keep going...I'm thinking it will end on Dec. 31. Now I can't decide if that day will get a two page spread like the others, in which case I'll have to come up with something for an end page, or if Dec. 31 will be a one page (left hand) to end it. We'll see what kind of photos I have to work with, I guess!

Journaling: I wandered into the living room, which still shows the remnants of our Christmas celebration. There are stacks of boxes and bags of torn wrapping. Most of the stockings are piled on the hearth, waiting to be put away for another year. Abby’s stocking, though, still hangs from the mantle. Again this year, it was never filled with treats. She celebrated Christmas hiking in the Simien mountains of Ethiopia. She was outside of the reach of the internet and unable to Skype on Christmas Day, but we enjoyed seeing her pictures on her blog later.
