What a story! I do well to get one tree up every year -- not sure I'd make it through two!

LOVE this memory, Karen. What a story . . . your husband indeed must be the most patient man in the world! I love the page full of only journaling. Your layout itself is terrific . . . just enough digi to make a great page . . . love that you have kept it simple.

We always had cedar trees for Christmas when I was growing up . . . I wasn't allergic the way in which you are, but I would break out in an itchy red rash and scratch away! It probably didn't help that mother always had Angel Hair (remember that) to add to the itch!!! I still think that cedar is the most wonderful Christmas smell ever. I know that you enjoyed cutting your own tree down at the home of your friend . . . and I'll bet that they loved your story!

You poor thing! I'm too allergic to some things, including cedar trees ... I'm glad you were able to still enjoy the tree ... OUTSIDE! Such a sweet and thoughtful husband, to help you with the cedar tree and then again on the artificial tree! Wonderful layout ... great story!

What a great story and the page is beautiful! Our tree is called Ilene this year. We cannot get her to stand up straight, but I already love the memory of our tree this year! Smile

I don't think I'd have the patience to decorate two trees, but when I was young...maybe!
