Journalling:

Wednesday 5th December 2012.

There’s something extra comforting waking up in the morning, snuggling down in the doona and listening to the rain on the roof. After our lovely warm start to summer, the weather has turned cool, and the roads were slick on the way into work.

I was only working a half day today as I was attending the CWA Christmas lunch at the Hotel Warrnambool. It was a delicious meal and the ladies were great company. I then ventured out to K-Mart to get some final things I needed for gifts. Big mistake! Now I know why I like to shop online.

I asked Mike what his day consisted of today and he said “work, work and more work”. There are lots of reed orders to get out before Christmas, it’s competition season and the orders just keep on coming, which is a good thing!

Because I’d had lunch out, I didn’t feel like much for dinner, so Mike cooked himself a steak. Good man!

When I called Bo for dinner, she was sprung climbing back over the fence from next door. She loves to sit in their geranium patch and often comes home smelling the sweet smell of flowers.

All in all a pretty nondescript day.
