Journaling: 25-Ronnie and Elisa brought these gorgeous flowers to me on Thanksgiving. 26-This is the earliest our tree has been up in years. This is an ornament from my paper scrapping days. I rolled strips of paper around a pencil and dropped them into a clear glass ball -- a pretty good use of all those scraps I’d saved. 27-Mama and Aunt Jewell returned from Thanksgiving in Virginia at Aunt Peggy’s, and we played Aggravation Rummy tonight -- I was the big winner. 28-The packages have started arriving from Amazon where I ordered quite a few gifts for the munchkins. Gotta love shopping online! 29-I bought ingredients for some holiday baking: fudge, salted caramel bark, and salted caramel brownies. Any idea what my latest taste craze is? 30-Matthew took me to lunch at Seasons 52 today, and we stopped by Whole Foods to get gluten free flour and xanthan gum. Now I can try that brownie recipe. 1-Katie did a great job at her winter piano recital today. She played “Angels We Have Heard on High.”

Seeing, then, that we have a great High Priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16
