The one thing I did worry about when I started doing this project was that when I go to work during the week the pages will get boring. Oh well, it's life, isn't it?

Monday 3rd December 2012

Up early to get ready for work, it was a shock to the system. Molly and Lucky were up with the birds too, ready for the breakfast. I must admit, I do so love the way that Lucky does a morning stretch, he gets into it with such gusto. :-)

After procrastinating for near on two years, I think we’re narrowing down the search for our new dining table and buffet. Well, we can’t rush these things, can we? I went into Knock on Wood armed with measuring tape, only to find when I came home that the two pieces I really liked wouldn’t fit in the space. Back to the drawing board.

At lunchtime I walked around town and took note of some of the Christmas decorations that had sprung up. I loved that the Lighthouse Theatre was wrapped in a big bow. And I almost felt the urge to pop my Christmas list into Santa’s letterbox outside Studio Gas.

A late dinner by the time I got home, and now Mike is working well into the night. Here it is just gone 11.30pm and he’s still binding reeds for a big order to go out to France. Better take a photograph before I forget.

Note to self: the Christmas cards still haven’t been written!
