I've finally decided on a format. SIMPLE! I've fussed around so much and thought if I don't make a decision I'll never do it. I've made a Christmas memories book before (as in all our Christmasses and how we spend them, what we do, etc. but not a specific year December Daily. Hope I keep it up!)

Saturday 1st December 2012.
Up and at ‘em early and off to Daylesford for the Highland Gathering. I drove. I gave Mike car-sickness! We had to stop at Creswick for a breather, poor guy. He continued to be a wonderful shade of green until we got there. I’m sure it wasn’t my driving, he was still seedy from his antibiotics.
It was hot! Sunscreen a must.
I decided this year I was heading down town to shop while he made noise with the pipes, and decided to walk it from Victoria Park into town.
A hilly 2 kilometres both ways. I felt so righteous when I overtook a couple struggling up the hill. Go me!
Random photos from around Daylesford and I did a bit of damage to my wallet for sure. French perfume, a funny garden ornament and some silk yarn for knitting. I got back just in time to see Mike play in the afternoon. Brownie points!
Before heading home we decided to have a coffee at Sweet Decadence. Oh Lord have mercy! We did indulge in a small chocolate each, it was heaven. Mike vowed and declared that his cappuccino with the big slurry of melted chocolate across the top was the BEST cappuccino he had ever tasted and ensured the barista knew, she was delighted.
We got home tired and spent with the menagerie pleased to see us. Lucky was doing backflips.
A great start to Summer.
