I am still working on readying my Aunt's home for sale . . . still plodding along, actually. When our daughter was in town for a few days before Thanksgiving with our little granddaughter, she wanted to go to the house to see if there was anything that she would love to take to her home. Little Amelia was such fun to have around . . . but, she wasn’t much help in our mission to clean out the house and gather items for Goodwill and the garbage!

“Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” ~ Luke 6:38

Journaling: at Aunt Velma’s house. The three of us drove to Centerville so Bess could spend a little more time at the house. I am trying to get it ready for sale and am having a hard time deciding what to do with all of her lovely treasures. Bess found some beautiful things that no one else had wanted to take to her home . . . all nieces & nephews have taken a few things as tangible reminders of the time we spend in this marvelous old home through the years. We took little Amelia with us . . . she had a gay old time playing with the old hats and climbing in and out of packing boxes and running up and down the stairs moving things from her to there and back again. Her presence made out day a joyous one rather than a sad one!
