I'd planned to make a calendar for my mom for Christmas. The focus would be her children (three daughters) and grandchildren (a total of nine) and husband. And then got a code this morning from Shutterfly for a free calendar. Perfect! Although the deadline, this Friday, not so perfect. Tell me I can do it!
I wanted (needed!) to keep it simple so I created a template and will be using it (or a flipped version) for every month. If you're thinking of doing something similar and you don't want to reinvent the wheel, I recommend Layer Works No. 121 which I basically copied for this project.
May is my younger sister's youngest's bday and I also wanted to highligh Mother's Day on the topper. I may put photos in one or both of those spots with patterned paper. I'm also not sure about the colors with the purple and blue papers. Feeling like I can't think straight and that maybe I need to take a break, lol...
