I'd planned to make a calendar for my mom for Christmas. The focus would be her children (three daughters) and grandchildren (a total of nine) and husband. And then got a code this morning from Shutterfly for a free calendar. Perfect! Although the deadline, this Friday, not so perfect. Tell me I can do it!
(P.S. the Shutterfly email said "pass it on" so if you'd like the code too, let me know!)
I wanted (needed!) to keep it simple so I created a template and will be using it (or a flipped version) for every month. If you're thinking of doing something similar and you don't want to reinvent the wheel, I recommend Layer Works No. 121 which I basically copied for this project.
The only thing in January is my birthday, so the topper is... well, me!
I'm already looking forward to the super-themed kinda stuff that I'll be doing that I don't always do in the family photos books. Like the wintery/snow theme for January, hearts/love for Feb, etc. FUN!
