Journaling:
Emily took this quick picture of us with her cell phone and we both kind of gasped at how much alike we looked in it. And I also saw how old she looked - she’s almost a grown-up sometimes and it’s a bit scary and a bit sad sometimes. I couldn’t be more proud of her or love her more but that also makes me realize how quickly time is passing and how little time we really have with her at home. Just a few more years and she’ll be off to college. Until then, we’re just going to treasure every little bit of time we have.
