Just getting with started my 30 Days of Thankful pages!

Journaling: Today I am thankful that Ed loves trees, especially in the autumn of the year. He dug up several red oaks about a dozen years ago from the woods behind Grandma & Grandpa’s Homestead farm and transplanted them here at our house. This one and another like it are from the same dig and are thriving in the fence row on the portion the unused old Leora Pike that is in front of the house on our farm. Today they are growing taller each year and are a brilliant red, which glows, in the slanting autumn sunlight. He has been talking about just how beautiful the red is just today.
