Colours of Fall: Orange
Too much orange?
A road we are sure not to forget! I'm sure it really wasn't bad for those used to it. But, it's flat here! LOL! While I was laughing hysterically, Dylan was trying really hard to remind me to take photos. So I didn't manage to capture the really hairy bits. Probably because I refused to look out the window.
Thanks for looking.

Journaling: We cut our tour of Larnach Castle short when we noticed the fog rolling in. The drive up had been a little hairy and we did not want to do it in heavy fog! We asked on the way out if there was a better road back to Dunedin and were recommended a particular route. Well, if we thought the drive up was hairy this road was downright terrifying! There were no guard rails for a large part of it and it was only one lane wide! What happens when a car comes the other way?! Oh and letís not forget the 100kph speed limit! To look out the window, you could not see the road, only the drop down. It was that narrow. Mum was freaking out as it was but then the unthinkable happened. A car came in the other direction. There was barely any room to move over and when Step Daddy tried to, Mum lost it. My fear erupted in laughter, which started everyone else off but I swear I was thankful to make it back to Dunedin with my life! 15.05.10
