It's been ages since I posted in the gallery because my scrapping mojo went AWOL. With all the amazing goodies that have been in store lately, the ever increasing number of stories I want to record, and all the inspiration in the gallery, I'm a tad overwhelmed! So I thought I'd try and get back on track by scrapping my 5km run achievement!


Journaling:
I’ve worked with runners and I’ve socialised with runners but I never, ever thought I’d be one myself. I always thought I couldn’t do it. On joining the gym just over 5 months ago, I couldn’t even run for one minute. OK, so I’m not the fastest runner with a current pace of 7.5km an hour, but it’s better than nothing. Slowly but surely, over the weeks, I’ve built up the minutes and I finally accomplished a 5km run yesterday... in 40 minutes ... NON STOP. Sure, I find it hard going a lot of the time but if I want to keep shedding the extra pounds... this is how it’s got to be.
