Month 2 in Review

Journaling reads:

The onesie is empty, the crying continues. Mommy was unable to get a photo of you on your second month birthday.....or any day during this month. Your daily pattern has remained the same...cry and cry harder. The evenings are the worst....sobbing and crying....for hours at a time. The Doctor says it should go away, but that is a hard pill to swallow for the moment. Mommy is still on maternity leave from the Lyon County Extension Office as the 4H Agent. She was hoping for a memorable 9 week maternity leave, and it has been, but for all the wrong reasons. You started going to daycare at Christine’s around the 15th of July. You are adjusting well to the daycare schedule and learning to use the bottle. Mom is pumping like crazy so you can have breast-milk for as long as possible.. Grammie Patterson arrived towards the end of the month to help babysit during the Lyon County Fair. You are still colicky, but we think you are getting slightly better. Grammie used the Snugli front pack and your Dad thinks you look like a “tank commander” because of how you prop your arms up and look around. We think the Snugli helps ease your colic symptoms. Mom and Dad are taking one day at a time.
