Woot! I finished my Golden Gate bike trek project! Yay! Um, no, this is not a page for that project; I just wanted to tell someone that I'd finished the bike project! Smile (I learned a really valuable lesson this past weekend: If you feel compelled to scrap umteen thousand photos for an event that lasted only a few hours, then multi-photo templates are your friends. Michelle Martin of Maplebrook Studios--I love you! Smile I really need to get better at sorting my photos before I attempt to scrap them, but I digress...) This is actually the first page for my next project, a kayaking excursion I went on with the same friends with whom I did the bike trek. The photo here was taken with one of those disposable cameras, so the quality was not great. Still, dress it up with a combination of Katie's tut, some techniques from one of Pattie's Digital Techniques for Art Journaling classes, and a bit of stealing--er, lifting--from Janet1949's latest pages, and it doesn't look half bad.

Happy Monday, everyone! (Ugh! Where did the weekend go?!? Oh yea, that's right--I spent it scrapping! Did I tell you that the Golden Gate bike trek project is done? All done? Smile )
