I chose this page of Ali's to scraplift. http://www.designerdigitals.com/digital-scrapbooking/ideas/showphoto.php?photo=130412&size=big&cat=
She has such a clean, graphic style, a lot of fun to browse her beautiful layouts.
I've been wanting to do this one for a while, so it was perfect timing.

Growing Up words

I've included my journaling if you're interested. It's long, but I myself, hate when I can't see the journaling, (nosey I guess) Wink so I always include it.

Journaling:
My best friend, my rock, my safeplace. I’m not sure I really knew love until you. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s always good. You know when to push and when to back off. You are my greatest supporter and cheerleader. You make me strive to be a better person, and a better parent. Family is the most important thing to you and that shows in your everything you do. Even a after a long day, at home with your family is where you want to be. You are patient and undrstanding and only want the very best for us. Thank you for everything you do and everything you are.
I love you!

My first born, my “little old soul”, you are wise beyond your years. You made me a mother and gave my life purpose. You make me want to be a better person. You are acutely aware of my feelings and are always trying to please me. You have shown me what unconditional love was supposed to be. You have a gentle spirit and a noble heart. You have an ease with people that draws them in and they want to be around you. You put me on a pedestal, that I don’t belong on, but you see the best in me and bring it out in me every single day. I am very proud to be your mom.
I love you!

My baby, my prankster, the one who makes me laugh every single day. You give me my highest highs, and my lowest lows, and have taught me the true meaning of patience along the way. You have taught me that life is not to be taken so seriously and not to sweat the small stuff. You make me want to be the best parent I can be, but you forgive me when I’m not. You have a tough exterior, but a soft heart, and a compassion that I am in awe of. You always find the best in others and in turn has made me look for that in others as well. I see you mature every day and I am very proud to be your mom.
I love you!

My debater, and antagonist. You made me a mom, and made me realize that even if not by blood, it was no less important. You made me want to be a good role model and show you the stability of a loving home. You taught me valuable lessons of patience and picking my battles, for when my own came along. You are intelligent, and talented, with so much potential, which is why I push you because I’m not sure you see it in yourself. I only want the best for you. I have done a lot of things wrong, but you’ve forgiven me for my mistakes and I thank you for that. I am very proud to be your “mom”.
I love you!

My optimist, and easy going one, who has always been accepting of the way things were and tried to make the best out of every situation. You made my transition to becoming a “new mom” an easy one, never making me feel that my role was of any less significance. You embraced your new family with ease and grace and were always eager to please. You remind me the most of your dad, not only in looks, but also in personality, with a good heart and the clear difference between right and wrong. You have always been a great big brother and a valuable role model. I am very proud to be your “mom”.
I love you!
