I was heavily influenced by pages from dfwest - this is just one of her amazing pages - http://www.designerdigitals.com/digital-scrapbooking/ideas/showphoto.php?photo=174187&cat=fav.

I'm still working on pages for my AAM album. I've been pulling out my favorite, treasured, childhood toys. I'm so happy to still have kept Mrs. Beasley and in such good condition.

I remember thinking how handsome Uncle Bill was on Family Affair. I think he was my first childhood crush. Smile

Thanks for looking and perhaps enjoying reminiscing with me!

Journaling: It was 1967 and I remember being about 6 years old and watching Family Affair.
Buffy had this doll and what I wanted [more than anything] was a Mrs. Beasley doll just like hers. I don’t remember for sure but I think Santa brought her to me. She was my favorite doll for years. She may be old, but I took good care of her. She still has her hair net, eye glasses, collar and apron. Her pull cord still works, too. I’ve seen her in antique stores without any accessories and she goes for $65. I don’t know what [my] Mrs. Beasley would sell for, but to me, she’s still priceless.
