I have been going gah-gah for Janet's (Janet1949) recent pages, so much so that I was determined to lift one; I even pm'd her to get her secrets. Smile If you haven't seen it, you really must go take a look at Janet's fantabulous St. Katherine's Docks, London. This page turns out to be Janet's lift of a beautiful page by Guinevere, so I guess we have a chain lift here. Smile

The story is this...

Well, actually, the story is already in the journaling (see below). However, I will add that my neighbor now considers me certifiable, if she didn't already. My response upon seeing a vine growing out of my chimney? Why, I ran into the house and grabbed my camera, of course! The conversation went something like this...

Me: "Blah, blah, blah..."
Her: "Blah, blah, blah..."
Me: "Blah, bla- HOLY #$%^! There's a vine growing out of my chimney! How'd that get there? Wait! I'll be right back!"

(sound of running footsteps fading into the background)

(sound of running footsteps getting closer)

Me: "Oh! Hi! You're still here! Sorry about that! I needed to get my camera."

(click! click! click!)

(sound of neighbor trying to stealthily back away from me...)

(I stop taking pics long enough to notice that she has a really puzzled expression on her face; she stares at me, I stare at her...the crickets start chirping...)

Her: "I swear you'd photograph lint!"

Me: "I would if it had a story to tell!"

ETA: page title is taken from a song from the movie "Mary Poppins."

Journaling reads:
"The other day I was standing at the entrance to our cul-de-sac chatting with one of the neighbors when I
happened to glance back at our house and saw...a vine! Growing out of our CHIMNEY! Akk! Time to tear down the jasmine!"
