Journaling: After visiting the Ehrenburg ruins, Mike asked the girls if they wanted to hike up to the higher up ruins (which we couldn’t even see in the fog) named Schlosskopf. They agreed and since they never volunteer to hike, we headed up hill. We took the shorter, steeper path. Immediately we ran into problems with trees that had fallen along the path. We had to scramble over and under them. As we climbed we also encountered snow on the trail. At point there was not a path - just snow but we travelled onward. Due to the fog we couldn't see the path so we didn’t really know how much furthur we have to travel. Finally we reached the top! And then we couldn’t see much due to the fog. It was still a good hike.
