A windy, wet day yesterday. The field was surrounded by a moat....Isabel did her best to mop up the water by repeatedly throwing herself at the ground. To be fair, she was being thrown at the ground as well. It was a tough but clean game.


In rugby, you may only tackle the ball carrier. You must release the tackled player once they are on the ground and roll away. The tackled player must release the ball when they make contact with the ground. That said, if the tackle is not completed, (they are no longer impeded by the tackler) they can get up and run... You may not leave the ground before tackling someone (you can't take a flying leap) and you may not tackle above the shoulders.
