My page remembers a day when clothes were always hung out on the line to dry. I realize it is still the preferred method in many places, but, my grandsons only know about drying clothes in a modern clothes dryer, so, I thought this photo of my mil hanging clothes on the line would be perfect for the book I'm creating about her life. Her work was never done and she had very high standards for a clean house.

Believe me, I miss the fresh clean smell of clothes that dry outdoors on the line! Only thing is in Minnesota, the air becomes a bit too brisk in the winter months! I remember my mom bringing in line dried cloth diapers to fold that were stiff as boards!
