A continuation of my Summer Vacation 2004 album.
Journaling To top off an already wonderful day, we went back to Palo Duro Canyon and drove through the park, had a wonderful BBQ dinner and then saw the play “Texas”, which is set in an amphitheatre with the Palo Duro Canyon as the backdrop. Set against an authentic tapestry of history, the show’s fictional characters bring to life the stories, struggles and triumphs of the settlers of the Texas Panhandle in the 1800s. Song and dance abound and a generous helping of good ol’ Texas humor, with amazing lighting and special fire and water effects. We would definitely see this show again!
