Paper Doll Pumpkin Carving
Tutorial Technique Challenge No. 3: Sticker Art
Greetings, DD'ers! It's been too long! Hope you are all doing well and that you're having a pleasant weekend. Me, I just got back from our community Easter Egg Hunt, and I thought to myself, "What better way to celebrate Easter and the arrival of spring than by posting a page about Halloween?"
This page is my take on Cassie's most recent technique tutorial challenge. I love making stickers! They remind me of paper dolls; hence the fanciful page title. I always have difficulty restricting myself to using just one of Cassie's techniques, so there's more than just the sticker tutorial here. Cassie, I hope that's okay!
I'm currently working on my Halloween photos from last year (so, so behind in my scrapping!). We host an annual pumpkin carving party, attending by a few friends and neighbors. The parts of this page that are not DD products are extractions of photos taken at that party. That's me, in my big, fuzzy slippers, sitting in my typical cross-legged pose working on one of the many jack o' lanterns we carve for our Halloween decorations.
"Pumpkin Carving Party!
We held our annual neighborhood pumpkin carving party on Saturday, October 29th. The usual suspects were there, along with a guest appearance by our little cat, Scruffy."
It's been a busy time at work--what else is new?--and I actually have to go into work for a few hours today. Sigh. Back to the salt mines. I hope to be able to pop back in to the gallery from time to time, but until then, just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you and miss hanging out with you all. Happy Easter, to those of you celebrating it, and Happy Spring, everyone!
