It feels like forever since I last had a chance to post...busy with a presentation for work....I am always inspired by Debbie's pages and I have a list of favourite/treasured things to scrap now. I started with this photo, found in a box after my dad died. It is a photo of him at age 26. He was stationed in Northern India, now Pakistan, during WWII and travelled through Kashmir. He wrote on the back of the photo, obviously sent to my grandmother:

August 27, 1946
By the Erin River above the village of Kudor,
Erin Nullah
Kashmir State,
India

From Tom
To Mother 11/9/46

Returning down the Erin Nullah after the climb up Mount Haramoulh(?)

His handwriting didn't improve with age...but it makes this photo even more precious.
