Journaling: It has been a busy week for you Son! You started walking properly on Sunday night and since then you have not looked back. You rarely crawl now and your walker has been packed away. You are exploring the house and the garden with a new set of eyes and as far as you are concerned, nothing is off limits! We really love this stage you are at right now. You are so cheeky and instigate lots of little games now. Some new ones this week were lifting your arms up for me to tickle. You would lift them up and put them down really quickly trying to tease me into tickling you. When I did tickle you, you would laugh so hard. You thought it was the greatest thing ever. You also love being chased and get so excited. Although I think we will hold off on this one until you are little sturdier on your feet after you fell over! You are improving with the separation anxiety! Ever since that night in December when Mummy and Daddy tried to leave you with Nana and Pa for a few hours you have got fussy when you see them. This breaks Nana’s heart every single time because she misses your cuddles and happy smiles. We have been working on seeing Nana and Pa more often though and we went out to lunch on the weekend and you were so good. You played with Nana and Pa and gave her lots of big smiles and even a little cuddle. I know you well and truly made their day. You must have one amazing memory though my Son to still be carrying on about it in February. We do think you might just be milking it for all it’s worth now though. We are going to keep working on it until you are used to being looked after by Nana and Pa. It is good for you and Mummy and Daddy do need a date night by themselves occasionally. Once you work out how much you will be spoiled when you visit your Grandparents, I don’t think it will be an issue anymore. Besides the fact, Nana and Pa are just dying to spoil you rotten my Son! 26.02.2012
