Gray day yesterday, and again today, but the chickadees were out and about. They're as common as dirt in Ohio, so you'd think they'd be easy to photograph. Unfortunately, they're a lot like toddlers. They can't seem to sit still for 2 seconds running. Just as you get one in focus and lined up for a shot, he's off to another branch, and you have to start all over again. I have more pictures of branches where the chickadee WAS than I have of the chickadee. This was a passable shot, but not tack sharp. They ARE cute little things. And Lynn's Midwinter kit had the perfect gray for the background!!
