Photos of the boys sitting on the memorial bench. The sign reads his name (with a sketch of a polar bear) and gone too soon from our lives but never from our hearts.

Journaling: "In 2009, my only sibling, my brother Jim passed away. To this day my parents cannot bear the thought of burying his ashes. I understand their feelings but I have needed a place to mourn him. We came up with a great idea. My family and I donated money to the Cleveland Zoo and got a memorial bench in his name installed in the Northern Trek. We chose that spot because I can see Jim’s favorite animals, the polar bears, and my favorite, the seals from that spot. I love this place. Instead of going to a grave where I would be reminded of his death, I can go to a place that helps me remember his life."
