in august my freshly wed brother, his wife and my husband were visiting the nearby russian orthodox church.
we are not very much into church matters (which is quite common for germany).
but we love going into churches, listen to the silence, looking at the art etc.
when we entered this one both my sister in law and i started to cry because of the beauty of the whole building.
when i read about it all i found out that the church was built in the memory of a young beloved queen who died just after giving birth to her first child.
don't ask me why i used "sweet surrender" as a title. perhaps i could feel the love when entering the church? i don't know. find your own interpretation :-D
