It's the first Saturday in weeks and weeks that I haven't had to go into work. Did I spend it cleaning my dust-bunny-infested house? Did I spend it weeding my overgrown garden? Did I spend it doing errands of any kind? Noooo! It's embarrassingly late in the day and I'm still in my jammies! Smile

I thought to spend today scrapping, and I did...I just didn't scrap anything in my "To Do" folder. Smile If you haven't checked out these two threads in the forum:

Oh, the mistakes I make...
Kelly--Avatar!

you really must do so. I got such a much-needed belly laugh from them, and that led to this page.

Journaling reads:
"Just another day in the DD forums.

When you hear the words “mugs,” “thong” or “fanny,” what comes to mind? Hmmm? At Designer Digitals, my favorite digital scrapbooking site, I happened upon the Funniest. Thread. Ever. EVER! Predominantly about how different words can mean very different things in different languages, it also addressed screen names vs. usernames. I shall never be able to look at a coffee cup, a pair of flip flops or a hip bag in quite the same way again! And who can forget Earlo Foxford or our latest CT Member, Hiatus?

While reading some follow-up comments, I laughed out loud so hard that Peter asked me what was so funny. Ugh. These explanations never go well. (”It all started when Anxela--er, Heidi...did I mention that she’s from Norway?”) When I got to the part about the Barbie doll with the big mugs (“No, Sweetie, that’s just her username!”) he threw up his hands and said he didn’t want to know any more, that this thread sounded like a conversation I’d have with my bawdy, rowdy sisters. Ha! He’s right in more ways than he knows!"

ETA: on the coffee mug, it says, "Eye Heart Designer Digitals" Smile
ETA, part deux: the coffee mug--er, cup--is a doodle I made for another layout; the photo is one I took of some pottery while we were in Costa Rica.

Here's to my bawdy, rowdy DD sisters! Smile
