What a glorious day! The sun is shining, the birds are singing...
Oh, who am I kidding? I'm still in the middle of audit hell (see story on earlier layout). Honestly, if it weren't for Thrifty Thursdays and New Product Saturdays, I don't know how I would have survived the past couple of weeks! (Retail therapy and scrap therapy all in the same convenient package! How cool is that?)
No real story behind this page, except that I find it nearly impossible not to scrap, no matter how busy I am. I'd started this page weeks ago in response to a color challenge Kayleigh posted on her blog, which was about the same time the bottom fell out from underneath me at work, so I've only been able to play with this in my spare time. (A typical conversation I have with myself..."Let's see, do I want to eat or scrap? Do I want to catch up on sleep or scrap?" The fact that I even ask those questions, tired and hungry as I am, makes me think I need to join a 12x12 step program, but I digress...)
Journaling on tag reads:
"Memo to Me:
In case of emergency,
Open the jar.
Now, ain't life grand?"
Kayleigh, thanks for another great challenge!
Okay, it's been fun, but back to the salt mines for me. Credits to follow...just as soon as I finish another page--oops! I mean, just as soon as I get some sleep!
...and we are back...
