This is a scraplift of a Linda Rodriquez (Lindar70) page Butterflies: http://www.designerdigitals.com/digital-scrapbooking/ideas/showphoto.php?photo=154497&ppuser=2225 - it is a beautiful way to scrap that one special photo. Thanks Linda for the inspiration.
I adore the Mono County area of California. Mono Lakes is different than any place I have ever seen, and due to the fact that there are no water way in or out of the lake, it concentrates all its chemicals, and makes for an interest ecosystem. I was also surprised to find that the majority of California Gulls (85%) lay their eggs on the small island in the center of the lake. Because of the time of year, we did not see many gulls (you can see only one in the lower center of the photograph. I love the sky in this photo as it was a day where we were told we had heavy rain on the way. We were there for over an hour, and although the sky on half the lake became very dark, the other have was partly cloudy, so it made for some interesting photos. I am glad that it started raining about 2 minutes after we got in the car to head back to Mammoth.

Curled Torn Edges No. 4 (my first attempt to use a blending mode on the curled edge so that it looked more like it would as true cardstock (with no white backing). I am proud of how it turned out).
