Hope everyone had a safe and relaxing holiday weekend. I enjoyed our local parade this morning and fireworks show this evening. The fireworks photos are an improvement over last year's batch so that is a good thing. I long for a fireworks shows with a more picturesque background other than a plain dark sky.

Canon XSi, 60mm lens. Camera settings: Aperture Priority, f13, ended up with a 20 sec exposure, ISO 100, used tripod. This was my second shot of the evening and I should have left the settings alone because I only ran the remove noise filter on this one but there really wasn't anything to remove. However, I really think it has a lot to do with how "bright" the particular firework is. Patience is a virtue as well ... I missed some pretty fireworks because the camera was "working" :-)

Thanks for looking, Gail
