PS: I used two layers of the photos and changed the blending mode... the bottom layer to Pin Light at 37% and one of top with Overlay at 37%. Then I grouped them together, added a layer mask to the group layer and used Anna's brushes (with black color chosen) at weak opacity to make photos fade into the background paper.
