So inspiring, yet a bit intimidating to lift this page of Phylis' for Saturday Scraplift.

Journaling: Is embracing my new 60th year with feathers in my hair like the man who buys a fancy sports car to reclaim his youth? May 2011

Here's the story: My husband bought me these feather hair extensions for Mother's Day. Kind of a random gift you might think. Yes, I did too. We have a friend who owns a hair salon/boutique and I think he got some ideas from her. But I wasn't sure about wearing them. After all, I'm 60. Who wears hair extensions at that age? Feeling adventurous, I had them put in and I loved them. Very subtle, or so I like to think, and very fun. But there's a second part to the Mother's Day gift: as a back up, in case I didn't like the feathers, my husband also bought me (drum roll, please) an iPad 2! Since I like the feathers, do I have to return the iPad? Not a chance!!
