Last summer a good friend of our family asked if he could tap our maple trees at the end of winter. We thought it would be a fun project and it certainly turned out to be just that. We had the easy part....collecting the syrup and creating the label. His work was much more involved because he boiled it all down. We collected 40 gallons from the tree which resulted in 1 gallon of actual syrup. It was such a fun project for all of us and we learned so much. Of course one of the best parts for me was designing the label. The great products at DD sure made it easy.
