Journaling: Most house we saw were tall and skinny, some up to six stories tall but no wider than nine feet. They are still limited by lot sizes set back in the 1500s. Called tube houses, they can be quite deep and house a store front, courtyard and kitchen area on the main floor. I loved how coloful they all were.
