Anna's new template totally gave me the inspiration to highlight all the beautiful birds we saw at the Botanical Gardens a couple of days ago. TFL!

Journaling: When we visited the South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center over Spring Break, we expected to see lots of flowers and plants. We even expected to see butterflies as we knew there was a butterfly conservatory there. What we didn’t expect to see was all the birds! Macaws, parrots, lovebirds, cockatiels, parrakeets and more were in cages throughout the gardens. Of course, we had to stop at each and every cage where I would tell Emma the name and type of bird at which we were looking. There was a Blu, a Yum-Yum, a Sarge, a Skylar and more though Sarge, the Macaw was deemed Emma’s favorite. I liked Yum-Yum with his beautiful blue color myself. At the end of our visit, Emma begged to stop by the gift shop where she promptly chose a cute little bird whistle as her souvenir. 3/11
