It is just the coolest feeling, when you've been stuck forever on how to scrap a photo or a collection of photos and then suddenly you just know what to do. Anke's color chat this past Saturday gave me some ideas for how to scrap two photos I'd taken on a photo walk while attending a conference near Lake Tahoe last fall. Today's page is meant to be a companion page to this one that I made for Anke's 8pm Color Challenge. I suspect there may be too much green (Anke, is that possible? Too much green? Smile ) when I put these two pages side by side, but for now I kinda like they way they look together. The beauty of digital is that if I change my mind, I can change the page! Smile

In playing with the photo on this layout, that of a few rowboats tied up at a dock, I was channeling my inner Vicki (oldvwblues). She does artistic photo treatments like nobody's business! I took a ton of inspiration from her Fishing Fleet page, but honestly, she has a boatload (um, no pun intended!) of pages that inspire me.

Journaling reads:
"As I walked by the dock I saw some rowboats tied up...and waiting for something? I slowed to get a better look and I swear I could hear them as they nudged each other and called to me, 'Play! Come out and play with us!' "
