Not quite sure if this qualifies for a da Vinci-esque inspired page, except for the architecturalness (is that a word?) but I wanted to use this photo of our courtyard wall, usually trailing with big green Boston ivy leaves. Each winter I'm amazed by the starkness of the wall and the barren branches.

The barren branches of the boston ivy lay dormant on the winter wall. Its tender twigs seem to hold on for dear life in anticipation of spring’s new growth.
