I needed inspiration to finally scrap this photo and I received it from Anke's lovely page: http://www.designerdigitals.com/digital-scrapbooking/ideas/showphoto.php?photo=131713 Thank you very much!

You have been our son for six years; and until today, I haven't been able to scrap this photo. I think it was taken shortly after you were removed from you biological home and placed in the orphanage. Every time I looked at your beautiful baby face, I was overcome with emotion. I had so much anger against your biological mother and the entire Russian government; and such sadness because of the tragedy you faced as a baby and toddler. I had top to put it away and not think about it. I had to concentrate on the hear and now of being your mother. After having the privilege of watching you grow into a strong, confident, handsome teenager, I can finally scrapbook your baby picture. Of course, I will always have some sorrow in missing your first eight years of life; but I realize how very blessed I am to be your mother now and forever after. I love you will all my heart Dimka.
