Thanks for the Heritage Challenge and the opportunity to look back at Christmas memories of the past. This Christmas photo was taken before I was part of the family, but when I saw the challenge I knew this was the 'imperfect' Christmas photo to scrap. If I taken this photo today, I would have deleted it right off the computer for so many reasons. I'm so happy that was not an option back in the 50's as there is so much to love about this Christmas memory. I love that it seemed to be about just taking a photo and not a great photo. I love that they are all gathered in front of the 'Charlie Brown' Christmas tree all dressed up with the tinsel. I love that the photo includes the old furniture and the ugly linoleum flooring. I love that only one person in the photo heard the direction, "Say Cheese!" I love that my sister isn't looking at the camera, but what a great shot of those big 'ole saddle shoes! But most I love the beer bottle front and center!!...............no reason not to include them in the shot too! Such a perfectly 'imperfect' Christmas photo that holds lots of memories.
Thanks fo looking.
