We headed north around the top of Hawaii, to then head back east to see one of Dick’s ‘must see’s. Mauna Kea The windy road took us through fog and rain & slowly climbed the volcano. We saw very little along the way with the weather. However, once we reached the mid point, we came into brilliant clear sunlight. This island had so many climate zones, and to think how many we were able to see was amazing. The sun was going down and so it was time to head back down the windy road to Volcano and packing.
