Photos from Prescott Farmers Market over Labor Day weekend.
I hear the high school band practicing in the morning.
The purple sage is blooming and the summer heat begins to ebb.
Evening has fallen into the routine of dinner, dog walking and homework.
We return to our favorite series and check out the new fall shows.
I inventory my favorite cardigans and put away the flip-flops.
At work we have begun the budget process for the coming year,
and the stores have come out with their seasonal drinks.
I talk to mom about Dad’s birthday & plans for Thanksgiving.
Fall. I love this time of year.
It signifies both a beginning and an end.
Here I pause, acknowledge all that has transpired this past year,
recognize the abundance, express gratitude, and reap the harvest
of all the experiences that challenged me, taught me life lessons,
and made me a more conscious individual.
