Art Journal Challenge #13
Have you ever watched a dog as it investigates something new? The dog kind of does this slow, hesitant walk as it approaches the new thing; it will walk around the new thing looking at it from all angles; it will push its face forward, trying to sniff the new thing without getting too close. That's how I approached Aino's latest art journal challenge. I can't draw freehand at all, so for my first attempt at drawing something with brushes I thought I should try something a bit simple. Good thing, too, as it took me hours to make this page, and all I did was make something round! I suspect my second project--a rendition of Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel using only DD brushes--is going to have to wait a while!
