This isn't an AJ challenge page, but here it is anyway. It's been a while since I've done one of these off-the-wall pages, and I don't want you to think you're off the hook.

The Insignificant Other is studying quantum physics (I have no idea why. He's terrible at higher math.) and it's relation to time travel. I made the comment that the laws of quantum physics state that time travel is only possible into the future, not into the past, and that if one traveled into the future, one would not then be able to return. This led to a long discussion on his part, and a lot of um-hmms on mine.

But later I got to thinking about it, and it occurred to me that right now, this very moment in time, is the nexus of all time. Everything that has gone on before is past, and all that will be is future. If we step one nano-second backward or forward, we are in either the past or the future. We are, quite literally, in the moment.

And now that you know all that, you'll all feel better about it, right?
