I keep turning around and looking at this layout thinking what else does it need. I am forcing myself to STOP-so I can move on to my next project. In the next few months I hope to scrap a groups of Real Photo Postcards of my mom's family when she was a baby. I am facinated by these postcards, and have started a small collection of my own. This one was colorized, and although I was going to get rid of the color and make it into the sepia tone the rest are in, I felt in the end it should stay with it's original color.
Journaling reads: I was delighted when I came across a group of REAL PHOTO POSTCARDS of my mom's, of a very young Moore family. The one below was taken aroun 1929 of Adam Clinton Jr. (Junior) at age 5, Leamon at 18 months, and Dorothy (Dot) at age 6. The postcard was hand colored by the photographer. To look at the young faces of my uncles and aunt, I am totally memorized, wishing I knew what their lives were like back then in 1929. I miss them all - as they passed away much too young.
