This is a 1968 newspaper article celebrating my grandparents 50th Wedding Anniversary
with a photo from their honeymoon in 1918...riding a Harley!
I know they are still riding together off on one of their grand adventures!


Photo Caption: A Harley Davidson motorcycle was the latest in conveyance
for the “with it” young people of 50 years ago. Young Alfred Morton Turney
and his bride, Lenore, were a couple of honeymooners when this picture was taken.
The older generation was wondering then what the world was coming to
as the “moderns” of that day went whizzing by in a cloud of gasoline fumes and dust.
Al and Lenore were photographed in Vallejo (California).
