Journaling: There is nothing quite like an orchid. The soft, translucent purple-pink makes it seem as if it is blushing at the knowledge of its own beauty. Its perch on delicate, threadlike stalks seem to defy gravity. But it is the lilac tongue and milky throat which beckon one to drink in the details, to deeply inhale the fragrance, to enjoy the creative hand of God that is all about us if we will just look.
