One day in the “Spaces” section of the Saturday paper, there was the following instruction: “According to homemanagement/entertainment/lifestyle maven Martha Stewart, there are six things one should be sure to do each day in order to help maintain a well-managed home. They are: 1) Make the bed; 2)Manage clutter; 3) Sort the mail; 4) Clean as you cook; 5) Wipe up spills while they’re fresh; and 6) Sweep the kitchen floor." When it comes to these daily chores, Martha would be pretty satisfied with our home. However, she may be surprised to learn that it’s the man of the house who places a high priority on seeing that they get done.
